HOUSTON TEXANS
What did you ejnoy most about the preseason opener vs the Vikings?
It's hard for me to pick one thing I enjoyed the most, but the most obvious is the positive signs from run blocking with the OL under Nick Caley and Cole Popovich.
We now see what a decent to good downhill gap run game can do for an offense. That first team OL that only had 2-3 day one starters on it, showed that if the opposing defense is forced to stop the run, the it can open up a lot for the QB and playcaller. I'm BLESSAN!

Surprise Roster or Starter Candidates from Camp 👀
Training camp always brings surprises — whether it’s a guy fighting to make the 53 or someone climbing into a starting role out of nowhere.
Who’s your pick to turn heads and surprise people this year?
I’ll start:
Defense: I think EJ Speed is going to surprise a lot of people. He has the tools and experience to push for a starting role or at least become a key rotational linebacker. He fits the SWARM mold and could thrive in this system.
Offense: I’ve been high on Jawhar Jordan since we drafted him, and he’s already showing out early in camp. He has real juice and could force his way onto the roster, especially with injuries in the RB room.
