The Shutdown Secondary Edition of the Streets of Swarm (SoS) series brings together Houston’s defensive backfield, reimagined as a squad of retro arcade heroes built to lock down anything that enters their territory.

Featuring Derek Stingley Jr., Kamari Lassiter, Jalen Pitre, Calen Bullock, and Reed Blankenship, this crew combines lockdown coverage, physicality, range, instincts, and playmaking ability on the back end. From Sting erasing receivers and The Locksmith closing down his assignment to ballhawks patrolling the skies, this secondary is built to make life difficult for opposing quarterbacks.

Inspired by classic 80s and 90s video game artwork, the design blends retro gaming nostalgia with Houston football fandom, transforming the members of Houston’s secondary into larger-than-life arcade characters.
